As I look out my window today, I see gray-white snow slanting sideways. Behind it, gray bricks. But someone is walking by in a lipstick-red hat with a pompom! And someone else is wearing hot pink sneakers!
Where you are, flowers might be blooming. Or you might be looking at a snowbank. Either way, now that our days are longer (yay!) and the sun keeps its grip on its shadows later and later, I’d like us to play with color as we consider our poem this month. I’m inviting you to think about an imaginary rainbow paintbox and to choose one color from it you’d like to relish in the poem you will write.
