Sometimes, we want to write, but time seems to slip away, doesn’t it? I find myself mulling over ideas and wishing I were writing in the evenings, but then somehow it doesn’t seem to happen when I want it to.
I’ve heard from many of you that you feel the same way! To write into this space and help activate your creative energy, I’ve created a Zoom Poetry Cafe to host a generative workspace on Tuesday evenings this summer.
We’ll meet from 9 – 10 PM EST on four Tuesday nights in July and August and write our hearts out!
You’ll receive a tidbit of poetry advice/craft at the beginning of our time together. Then, you’ll be invited to write a brand-new poem from a prompt (or work on one that you’ve been saving).
At the end of our writing time, you’ll be invited to share your process or a moment of your poem.
Enrollment is $100 via Venmo, preferred (@Tyler-Mills-84), Zelle (tyler.c.mills@gmail.com), or Paypal (tyler.c.mills@gmail.com).
You can register for one or both months. Write four poems in July, four poems in August, or eight poems in total! You can read more information about these sessions here. Registration is on a first come first served basis.
Be well, and happy writing!
